Electrical Lead Engineer (Mission Critical Construction) Omaha, NE (Onsite) Full-Time | Mid-Senior Level $110K–$130K + Relocation Support Build What Cannot Fail A leading, nationally recognized construction organization is seeking an Electrical Lead (M/E Engineer) to support complex, high-performance environments where uptime, precision, and execution excellence are non-negotiable . This is not a coordination role. This is an opportunity to own electrical systems across the full lifecycle —from preconstruction and design validation through field execution, commissioning, and turnover. What You'll Do Lead electrical scope execution across mission-critical or complex construction projects Evaluate and influence design decisions, constructability, and system performance Drive M/E coordination across subcontractors, design teams, and field operations Develop and refine budgetary estimates, sequencing strategies, and system recommendations Review drawings, shop submittals, and specifications to identify risk and improve outcomes Support and lead commissioning activities , including functional testing and documentation Ensure alignment to quality, safety, and schedule commitments Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement across projects What Sets This Role Apart This role sits at the intersection of: Engineering + Construction Execution Design Intent + Field Reality System Performance + Operational Excellence You will be trusted to challenge designs, optimize systems, and deliver results in environments where failure is not an option.
