On-site placement at an Alpha campus: Atlanta, GA Oklahoma City, OK Tulsa, OK Austin, TX Keller (Fort Worth), TX The Woodlands (Houston), TX Park City (Salt Lake City), UT Toronto, Canada Annual W2 salary of $150,000, distributed weekly. Health benefits begin on day one. Relocation assistance available The most constructive response for a student who achieves 99% is to inform them they haven't met the standard. If that statement makes you uncomfortable, this role isn't for you. If it resonates, continue reading. Alpha students complete their academic learning in two hours daily via self-directed AI-powered applications. There are no teachers, no lectures, no classroom instruction. This model enables you to focus on work that genuinely shapes student outcomes: facilitating dynamic workshops on public speaking, focus, and feedback; using real-time analytics to motivate students toward complete goal achievement; and mentoring the Guides working with you. Your day might begin with a one-on-one Guide coaching conversation, analyzing performance metrics and pinpointing cohort gaps. Mid-morning brings a live student workshop where you execute a structured activity on feedback exchange. Afternoons transition to motivation work: engaging individual students, identifying their intrinsic drivers, and applying Alpha's incentive framework to re-engage a disengaged 7th grader. You maintain direct oversight of your own cohort, keeping your skills current alongside those you're developing in others. You've likely been the outlier in education: excessively metrics-oriented, overly outcome-focused, too ready to question conventional approaches with students. Alpha may be the first environment that aligns with your instincts. You'll begin coaching Guides immediately, and as you demonstrate scalable impact, your authority over campus program standards expands. Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for K-8 cohorts, executing Alpha's established playbook rather than creating custom content Conducting motivation interventions using student data and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort Mentoring Guides on program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring each session yields specific performance improvement actions Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously developing Guide capacity Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators weekly to identify underperformance early What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering academic instruction or tutoring students on subject content. Students progress through self-directed apps without direct adult instruction. Creating original curriculum or developing lesson plans independently. The playbook is provided; your responsibility is faithful execution, not innovation. Training Guides on instructional methods. Guides don't deliver instruction, so you're developing their energy, motivation, and accountability skills. Accepting 99% when the standard is 100%. Maintaining the threshold demonstrates your confidence in student capability. Serving as the campus emotional support role. Students receive connection and relationship here, alongside candid feedback and meaningful accountability. Educational Consultant Key Responsibilities Execute Alpha's three core commitments for every student in your cohort: they develop genuine enthusiasm for school, achieve learning velocity twice that of traditional classrooms, and acquire substantive life skills.
