An established and growing medical technology manufacturer is seeking a senior sourcing leader to architect and elevate its global supplier strategy. This role sits at the center of operations, influencing business performance, supply continuity, and long-term scalability.
Based in the Greater Seattle market, this position requires full-time, on-site leadership presence. Relocation assistance will be provided along with a competitive compensation package.
About the Role
This leader will take ownership of the end-to-end sourcing function across a global supplier network supporting a highly outsourced manufacturing model. The mandate is clear: strengthen supplier partnerships, enhance cost competitiveness, reduce risk exposure, and build a sourcing organization capable of supporting sustained growth.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations while serving as a key advisor to senior leadership on supply strategy, commercial negotiations, and global risk planning.
What You Will Drive
- Design and implement a forward-looking global sourcing roadmap aligned with business expansion plans
- Lead complex supplier negotiations and long-term commercial agreements
- Improve cost structure through strategic category management and value engineering initiatives
- Increase supply resilience through risk assessments, continuity planning, and diversified sourcing strategies
- Establish clear performance expectations using supplier KPIs and data-driven insights
- Develop and mentor a high-performing sourcing and procurement team
- Embed sourcing strategy early in product development to ensure competitive cost positioning at launch
What You Bring
- 10+ years experience in sourcing and procurement within an Industrial Manufacturing, MedTech, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer Goods environment.
- 3 + years of procurement leadership experience
- Demonstrated success managing global supplier networks
- Strong commercial acumen and executive presence in high-stakes negotiations
- Experience building structured sourcing processes, governance, and performance management systems
- Financial fluency with the ability to translate sourcing decisions into margin and working capital impact
