Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Human Resources (DM), the Director, Human Resources (Director) is responsible for the overall development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of human resources management activities for the Department. The position is the recognized departmental authority and expert in the Government of Nunavut’s human resources policies, legislation, protocols and procedures. The Director is responsible for providing human resources advice to the DM and the rest of the senior management team.
