Our design, construction, and maintenance services ensure reliable power generation, transmission, and distribution to homes and businesses nationwide – and our commitment to renewable energy and resilient grid infrastructure sets us apart.

The expertise and dedication of our people spans the entire electricity network, so careers at Enerven are defined by meaningful contributions and impactful work.

At Enerven, we’re connecting you with tomorrow.

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of Enerven's Olympic Dam depot and surrounding operations in Roxby Downs.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will lead frontline operational delivery across transmission, distribution and electrical infrastructure assets, supporting major customers including BHP and other critical infrastructure operators across the region.

This is a unique leadership opportunity unlike a traditional depot environment. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, projects and operational works across a diverse portfolio of mining, industrial and remote infrastructure customers, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery.

As investment and activity across the Copper SA province continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of major infrastructure and resource sector developments while building your leadership career within one of Australia's most dynamic operating environments.

Based in Roxby Downs, you'll enjoy a strong community lifestyle, meaningful work and the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the region.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead safe and effective operational delivery across the depot and surrounding work sites
  • Provide leadership, coaching and support to frontline employees and apprentices
  • Coordinate operational resources, subcontractors and work programs
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement
  • Drive safety, compliance, productivity and performance outcomes
  • Support maintenance, project and outage delivery activities
  • Manage workforce planning, scheduling and depot operations
  • Monitor financial performance and support commercial outcomes
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

About you

You are a confident and adaptable leader who thrives in challenging operational environments and enjoys leading teams to deliver outstanding results.

You bring a practical leadership style, strong customer focus and the ability to balance safety, people, operational delivery and commercial outcomes.

To be successful you will have:

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Powerline disciplines
  • Extensive experience within electrical, powerline, utilities, mining or infrastructure environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading frontline operational teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills
  • Proven commitment to safety leadership and compliance
  • Sound planning, coordination and problem-solving capability
  • Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
