Corporate Tax Manager

About the Opportunity A leading national accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join their Fort Lauderdale tax practice. This is a backfill position. The firm is open to candidates who left public accounting for industry within the last 2–3 years. Sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Role Overview The Corporate Tax Manager oversees corporate compliance and ASC 740 tax provision engagements, including prep, review, and audit. This role requires strong technical expertise in corporate tax, experience with large multi-state and national companies, and the ability to serve clients across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities Manage corporate compliance and ASC 740 tax provision engagements — prep, review, and audit Serve clients in manufacturing, technology, pharma, food and beverage, consulting, engineering, telecomm, and transportation and distribution Maintain hybrid schedule — minimum 3 days in office per week Support business development and client relationship management Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Active CPA — Florida state license or reciprocity to Florida required (GA CPA or JD/active law license also accepted) 4–7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience Public accounting experience with top 15 accounting firms required Corporate tax experience supporting large, multi-state/national/global companies required Strong proficiency in corporate compliance and ASC 740 provisions Hybrid schedule — 3 days minimum in office per week Sponsorship available for qualified candidates Preferred Qualifications Onesource Tax Provision (OTP) software experience Big 4 or top 15 public accounting firm background Professional services industry experience Stable tenure — no job hopping over the past 10 years preferred Additional Notes Industry experience: manufacturing, technology, pharma, food and beverage, consulting, engineering, telecomm, transportation and distribution Regional relocation assistance available No additional variable compensation
