Location: Hunt Valley, MD Experience Level: Mid–Senior Experience Required: 7+ Years Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Job Function: Engineering Industry: Civil Engineering Positions Available: 1 Relocation Assistance: Limited Visa Sponsorship Eligibility: Yes About the Role We are seeking a motivated Aviation Civil Engineer who is ready to take on increasing responsibilities in the design and management of landside civil engineering projects supporting aviation clients. The selected candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and coordination of high-impact infrastructure projects and serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, subconsultants, and client stakeholders. This role is ideal for a professional with strong design skills who is also looking to grow their project management and leadership capabilities. Responsibilities Lead or support contract document development (plans, specifications, cost estimates). Coordinate and manage project meetings with clients, internal teams, and subconsultants. Ensure adherence to quality control standards and update documentation as needed. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and topographical/geologic data to plan projects. Perform detailed design computations. Provide oversight and coordination of project tasks, including managing subconsultants and internal resources. Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation . Strong skills in construction cost estimating and technical specification writing . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders . Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria . Strong project management skills (scheduling, budgeting, task management). Road/Highway design experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (required). 4–8 years of experience in civil design (required). Proven task management experience (required).
