Description American Senior Communities is now hiring a Chief Medical Officer Full-time, Fractional, or Consulting arrangements will be considered American Senior Communities is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Medical Officer to join our multi-facility, long-term care organization as we expand and mature our Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP) and value-based care strategy. This is a high-impact executive role for a physician leader who is energized by population health, risk-based models, and integrated care delivery . The CMO will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, and clinical teams to drive initiatives that improve quality, outcomes, and performance across the enterprise. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of long-term care within a value-based framework and to make a meaningful impact on the care of a large, medically complex population. Key Focus Areas Medical Leadership for ISNP and value-based care initiatives. Driving quality improvement, utilization management, and outcomes optimization. Aligning and leading Medical Directors and physician partners. Integrating medical strategy with operational and clinical care models. Advancing evidence-based clinical initiatives across long-term and post-acute settings. Ideal Background MD or DO required; board certification preferred. Experience with ISNPs, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care strongly preferred. Prior leadership experience in long-term care, post-acute, managed care, or complex populations. Proven ability to lead at scale and collaborate across clinical and operational teams.
