Job Description RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals across Ireland and internationally, providing full support with professional registration, job placement, visa processing, and employment permits. We are currently recruiting Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) Operative for a hospital in Limerick, Ireland. Grade: CSSD Operative Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €40,710 – €47,588 per annum Probation Period: The successful candidate will be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Working Hours: 39 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to take responsibility, show initiative, and drive positive outcomes. Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an understanding of resource management and a commitment to delivering value for money. Highly self-sufficient, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop proposals, and make informed recommendations proactively. Proven ability to lead, organise, and motivate teams to achieve objectives and deliver quality outcomes. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a track record of fostering effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Effective communication and mentoring abilities, including the capacity to provide constructive feedback that supports learning, development, and continuous improvement. Requirements Hold a Leaving Certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification. A QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support, or a related discipline is desirable. Demonstrated experience working within a Decontamination Unit or Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). (Essential) Proficient in the use of information technology systems and relevant workplace software. (Essential) Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. (Essential) Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage workload efficiently. (Essential) Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety and adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. (Essential) Previous experience in an accredited private hospital or a comparable healthcare environment is desirable.
