Business Analyst

Our client seeks a Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both project and work request needs for several Agencies.

Tasks

• Liaison between and the project stakeholders, as well as providing expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects.
• Critical member of the Agency Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team.
• Customer service and being a champion to ease Agency compliance with policies and practices are key performance expectations for this person. Must be able to quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers and help the client navigate those for the success for their projects and work requests.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Self-directed, well organized, confident in their ability to build relationships, quick to come up to speed on new assignments, and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.
• Quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers and help EGLE navigate those for the success for their projects and work requests.
• Strong facilitator experienced using facilitation for requirements elicitation; experience with gap fit analysis and program performance analytics
  
  

NOTE: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). This is a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site (Wednesday and Thursday). If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.

INTERVIEW: First round is virtual interview. 2nd round requires resource to come on-site.

Location: Lansing, MI (Add additional notes about location – hybrid, remote, etc)

Contract: 1 year

Skills Required

• 7 years - Business Analyst conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling
• 2 years - Working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use
• 2 years – Experience supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
• 5 years – Experience developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
• 2 years – Experience working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
• 1 year - Working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
• Rate depends on experience
