Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 + Allowances + Relocation Support

Location: Kalgoorlie (Residential role)

Roster: 5:2 | 9.5-hour days

Employment: Permanent Full-Time

With operations in Kalgoorlie, Pinjarra, Perth and the Gold Coast, we are expanding our Kalgoorlie team to support mining and industrial operations.


We specialise in:

  • Mechanical and site services
  • Shutdown maintenance and project support
  • Engineering and fabrication across mining and industrial sectors
  • In-house design and custom-built industrial assets
  • Dewatering asset hire, manufacturing, and maintenance


Due to continued growth, we are seeking residential Boilermakers to join our Kalgoorlie team.

About the Role

You will contribute to the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of structural steel, tanks, and pipework across workshop and site environments. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to apply advanced fabrication and welding skills to high-quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fabrication and welding activities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to plan fabrication tasks
  • Measure, cut, shape, and form metal materials using grinders, saws, torches, rollers, and presses
  • Assemble and tack weld components and structures to design specifications
  • Perform high-quality welding using GMAW (MIG), FCAW, SMAW (ARC), and GTAW (TIG) processes
  • Repair and modify metal components and structures as required
  • Conduct quality inspections and follow QA/QC procedures
  • Operate workshop machinery and tooling efficiently and safely, performing routine maintenance
  • Fit and assemble components accurately to ensure quality and structural integrity
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
  • Complete required documentation such as Take 5s, JHAs, material requests, and daily timesheets


About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
  • Mining or industrial fabrication experience
  • Qualified Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker with strong fabrication skills
  • Minimum 2-years post-apprenticeship as a boilermaker, metal fabricator or similar role.
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights certification
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and full work rights
  • High-Risk Work Licence (e.g., Forklift, EWP)
  • LR/HR License (advantageous)


Pre-employment checks:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Medical and drug/alcohol screening


You will also demonstrate:

  • Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
