This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, comfort, and appearance of our historic boutique hotel while delivering exceptional service to our guests and team members. Full time team members are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including : Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Short term and long term disability Paid holidays, vacation, personal, and sick time Relocation assistance negotiable as part of the offer Professional development support including PGA dues and continuing education Employee discount programs through HR partner LL Roberts What You'll Be Doing : As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and preventative care of hotel facilities and equipment, including: Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders in a timely manner Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems Maintain guest room equipment, lighting, laundry equipment, kitchen appliances, and life-safety systems Assist with facility improvement projects, renovations, and capital repairs Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns Ensure fire, life-safety, and building inspections are completed and documented Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns Support the overall safety, appearance, and operation of the property What We're Looking For : High school diploma or GED required Vocational training or coursework in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems preferred Experience in hotel, commercial, or facility maintenance preferred Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general building systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Computer proficiency for work order and maintenance tracking systems Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required Why Join Hotel Weyanoke : Located in the heart of Farmville, Hotel Weyanoke is known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and attention to detail.
