About this role
The Fountain Group is currently seeking Aircraft Technicians for a prominent client of ours. There are multiple positions open in the following locations:
- North Charleston, SC ($25 - $37/hr. - $5k Relocation Package)
Job Description:
- $25-$37/hr. Depending on experience
- 12-month assignments (with possibility to extend or convert to direct hire based on performance and budget).
- Various skillsets needed (electrical, structural, fuel tank sealer, interior specialists, systems assembly and testing)
General responsibilities include:
- Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
- Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- 6 months+ of aircraft repair/maintenance/assembly experience is required (depending on location they may require more) Open to aerospace academic program graduates.
- Some positions are open to automotive/structural/electrical background with no aerospace experience.
- Positions require a US Person due to export compliance regulations.
- Some positions require an A&P license
