Most admissions positions are designed to maximize numbers. This position is designed to uphold quality. Alpha is developing one of the most forward-thinking educational frameworks in existence. Our locations integrate demanding coursework, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely advance faster than national averages, with measurable evidence to support it. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical competency development. The approach is effective. However, it depends entirely on enrolling the right families. This is your responsibility. You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role that passes families between departments. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment occurs for sound reasons. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is achieving alignment. We welcome applicants from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, premium hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen complex client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability. If your professional background includes delivering exceptional service in settings where credibility, confidentiality, and experience define the brand, this position will resonate with you—simply directed toward work that produces tangible results. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided. What You Will Be Doing Managing the entire enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding. Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before offering solutions or suggesting further engagement. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across various phases of the admissions cycle, with transparent tracking and timely follow-up. Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and decision-making discussions that articulate outcomes, standards, and ideal candidate profiles. Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and precise to enable forecasting, strategic prioritization, and service excellence. What You Won’t Be Doing Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods. Admitting families who are poorly suited just to meet enrollment targets. Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies. Distributing ownership of the family journey across multiple departments. Performing this role remotely. This position requires campus presence. Admissions Relationship Manager Key Responsibilities Own and deliver a trust-centered, standards-driven enrollment process that successfully enrolls families aligned with Alpha's mission while safeguarding the model's integrity and educational outcomes. Basic Requirements 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in contexts where quality of service directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated services). Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through final onboarding. Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization framework. Ability to supply specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your offering when the fit was inadequate. Professional writing experience with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA. Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements Experience in competitive private school admissions or enrollment for selective programs. Background in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions. Experience designing or improving admissions workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols. Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance enrollment quality rather than simply volume. About Alpha Want to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom?
