The Role As a Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services while mentoring / supporting junior team members. This position is ideal for a technically strong Australian public practice professional who enjoys team leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery Manage the workflow for the team About You High level of professionalism and integrity Minimum of 6 years' experience in Australian public practice Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standards Proficient in Xero, including Xero Tax Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage deadlines Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
