The Warehouse Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the setup and management of our warehouse operations. This role will initially involve a hybrid work model, combining in-warehouse tasks and remote work during the first quarter, transitioning to a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee the setup of warehouse operations, including:
Layout design
Racking systems
Equipment procurement.
-Manage daily warehouse operations encompassing:
Receiving
Storage
Order picking
Packing
Dispatching.
-Implement inventory control measures to ensure accurate stock management.
-Lead and manage warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
-Monitor and control costs to optimize operational efficiency.
-Work with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve warehouse performance.
-Experience in warehouse operations, particularly in establishing processes for startups.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team.
-Knowledge of inventory control processes and systems.
-Ability to design efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
