As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, you'll bring your hands-on experience to a unique role at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. You'll work with realistic vulnerability scenarios, CVE data, and remediation workflows to help evaluate and improve how AI reasons about security risk. Your expertise directly shapes the next generation of AI models. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and application environments Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and appropriate remediation strategies Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems Apply your real-world security intuition to help AI distinguish theoretical risk from what actually matters in production Who You Are 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Solid familiarity with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks Able to articulate the tradeoffs between CVSS scores and real-world exploitability in production environments A clear, structured, and analytical communicator — you can explain complex security decisions in plain language Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with exposure management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) Background in threat intelligence, penetration testing, or security architecture Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001 Prior experience contributing to AI training, annotation, or evaluation workflows Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Make a meaningful impact by bringing real security expertise into AI development Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
