Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and recommend appropriate remediation strategies Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems Apply your practical knowledge of what actually matters in production environments — not just theoretical risk scores Who You Are 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks Able to clearly articulate the tradeoffs between theoretical risk and real-world exploitability A structured, analytical thinker who communicates complex security concepts with clarity Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments Nice to Have Familiarity with frameworks like CVSS, EPSS, or CISA KEV Experience with tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or Wiz Background in DevSecOps, cloud security, or enterprise patch management Prior experience contributing to security documentation, playbooks, or training materials Why Join Us Work directly on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs and AI teams Fully remote and flexible — complete tasks on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Apply your real-world security expertise in a meaningful new way Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
