Internship Overview This internship offers a reciprocal opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience for the student while contributing meaningfully to the mission of PB414. The Volunteer Experience & Recruitment Intern will focus on recruiting new volunteers, supporting onboarding, leading orientations and volunteer groups, and helping strengthen engagement and retention . This experience is ideal for students interested in nonprofit leadership, communications, business, education, social work, ministry, or event management. Location: Hybrid — a combination of remote work and in-person responsibilities across Northwest Arkansas, as required to fulfill internship duties. Schedule and time commitment: We are currently accepting applications for fall internship terms . Fall Internship Details: Flexible schedule of 5–15 hours per week Ideal start date: August 17 - to be determined upon acceptance of this offer Reports to: Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique Siloam Springs Volunteer Coordinator Key Responsibilities Volunteer Recruitment Assist with outreach to potential volunteers, including schools, community groups, and local organizations by phone, email and in person Help develop and share recruitment materials and messaging Assist with onboarding new volunteers Support strategies to grow a diverse, committed volunteer bas Volunteer Onboarding & Group Leadership Lead orientations for new volunteers Facilitate small volunteer groups Identify ways to enhance the overall experience Suggest improvements to streamline volunteer processes, from initial inquiry through post-service follow-up Training & Mentorship Initial shadowing and training provided, with increasing independence over time Interns at Purpose Brands 414 have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
