We’re looking for a Video Post-Production & Editing Specialist to play a vital role in supporting our brand and marketing agency’s content efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the founder, a seasoned brand and marketing leader who values craft, strategic thinking, and long-term partnerships. You will not just “cut clips,” but help shape how ideas land in the world through well-edited, well-paced, and platform-optimized video content.

LOCATION: Remote (Preferably based in the Philippines)
JOB TYPE: Part-time contractor, approximately 15 hours per week, with the potential to increase over time as the client base grows.
Role Overview
This role is focused on video post-production and editing across multiple client accounts. You will primarily take raw footage recorded in the U.S. by both professional film crews, and the executives themselves, and transform it into polished, compelling content for:
Social Media (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
Podcast episodes and other video assets
PR, thought leadership, and executive visibility content
Our customers are primarily B2B companies, with occasional B2C brands or founder-led businesses. This is fast, platform-native, performance-driven editing — not slow, cinematic work.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit long-form and short-form video content from raw footage into polished, professional outputs.
- Create platform-native social clips optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Support podcast production through video edits, cut-downs, and visual consistency.
- Prepare video assets for PR, events, presentations, and thought-leadership use.
- Build strong hooks, pacing, retention, and clear CTAs appropriate to each platform.
- Create multiple versions of videos for testing when needed.
- Source stock footage, sound effects, and music when required.
- Deliver clean, organized exports on time and to spec.
- Use AI tools to speed up captions, cleanup, and enhancement workflows.
- This role prioritizes speed, clarity, and performance over cinematic or experimental editing.
- Content Judgment & Storytelling
- Identify strong ---------- nts, hooks, and sound bites worth clipping and amplifying.
- Understand brand positioning and messaging well enough to make smart editorial decisions.
- Translate long-form conversations into clear, engaging short-form content.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the founder and marketing strategists to align edits with content goals.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines with consistency and reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional video editing and post-production experience.
- Experience working with B2B brands, with exposure to B2C brands and/or influencers.
- Strong understanding of conversion-oriented, performance-driven editing for social platforms.
- Familiarity with performance metrics such as watch time, retention, CTR, and engagement.
- Strong understanding of conversion-oriented editing for social platforms.
- High attention to detail, consistency in delivering clean, on-spec exports, and pride in producing polished work.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to collaborate clearly and efficiently in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fully remote environment.
- Reliable computer capable of handling video editing software.
- Stable internet connection for file transfers and video calls.
NICE TO HAVES
Experience with motion graphics or simple animations.
Experience adding captions and formatting videos for social platforms.
Familiarity with B2B SaaS, professional services, or founder-led brands.
Experience editing content for influencers or personal brands.
Comfort working from creative briefs rather than rigid instructions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly contractor role
- Rate: $6 USD per hour, paid bi-weekly
- 13th month guaranteed

WORKING STYLE
- You should be comfortable working asynchronously, asking clarifying questions via email and Slack, and delivering work you stand behind.
