Why This Role Exists Video is one of our primary growth levers. Right now, content production is bottlenecked by inconsistent editing quality and slow turnaround times. This role exists to fix that — by owning execution and turning raw footage into high-performing video ads at speed. This is not a support role. This is a production role directly tied to output and growth. What You’ll Be Responsible For Owning editing from raw footage → final deliverable without hand-holding Producing high-retention, performance-driven video content (ads, UGC, VSLs) Delivering fast, platform-ready outputs across multiple formats Maintaining consistent pacing, structure, and visual quality across all content What we offer / support you’ll receive We want our editors to have the right tools, setup, and team environment to do their best work. You already demonstrate: St rong retention-focused ed iting (hooks, cuts, pacing, flow) Experience edi ting UGC ads, VSLs, or paid social content Clean, consistent execution with minimal errors or rework Speed — you can produce quality work under deadlines Ownership — you don’t wait for instructions, you figure things out You Will Struggle in This Role If You Have not worked on DTC / ecommerce ads before Focus more on aesthetics than performance Need constant direction to complete tasks Miss deadlines or rely on multiple revision cycles Growth opportunities As the company grows, top-performing editors have the opportunity to progress into Senior Video Editor positions and, if additional leadership roles are created in the future, potentially Team Lead positions. You will work alongside a large team of Video Editors, Marketing Project Managers, and Creative Strategists, providing exposure to how high-performing DTC brands operate at scale. While this role is not intended as a direct pathway into Creative Strategy , we evaluate people based on their capabilities rather than their job title. If someone consistently demonstrates strong creative strategy skills , we are open to exploring opportunities that align with both their strengths and the company's needs. Tools Adobe Premiere Pro CapCut After Effects (or equivalent for basic motion work) Experience Requirements 2–5+ years of video editing experience Experience edit ing for social media, ads, or DTC / ecommerce brands Proven ability to deliver conte nt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Values & Expectations Ownership: You fully own your outputs — no excuses, no dependency Speed: Fast turnaround is expected, without compromising quality Quality bar: Your work should pass with minimal revisions Independence: You can execute without constant feedback loops Accountability: Deadlines are non-negotiable Scope of Role This role is strictly focused on execution.
