Horizon Tech is looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor with 1 to 2 years of experience in editing short-form and promotional video content. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, knowledge of modern editing techniques, and hands-on experience with AI-powered editing tools to create engaging content for social media platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit high-quality reels, shorts, promotional videos, and ad creatives for social media platforms Create engaging video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music professionally Convert raw footage into polished marketing content Create attention-grabbing hooks and high-retention short-form content Use AI-powered tools for auto captions, voice enhancement, smart cuts, background cleanup, and AI-assisted editing Collaborate with marketing and design teams for campaign-based content creation Maintain brand consistency across all video content Optimize videos according to platform requirements and current trends Manage multiple editing projects within deadlines SKILLS: 1 to 2 years of hands-on video editing experience Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention Knowledge of social media trends and viral editing styles Experience editing reels, shorts, podcasts, promotional videos, and ad creatives Familiarity with AI-based editing workflows and productivity tools Strong time management and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: Basic motion graphics and animation skills Experience with AI voice tools and AI avatars Knowledge of color grading and cinematic editing Understanding of YouTube content optimization Familiarity with prompt writing for AI creative tools Basic camera handling or shooting knowledge Other Details: Job Type: Full-time Timings: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
