Role Overview
RockWallet is seeking an enterprise-level operational executive to serve as Vice President, Operations. This is a senior leadership role with direct accountability to the President & COO, responsible for shaping and executing RockWallet’s operational strategy as the company scales across its US, Antigua, and India footprint.
The VP of Operations will own the company-wide performance management framework, drive enterprise AI adoption, and serve as the senior operational voice in cross-functional leadership. This role is central to translating the company’s strategic priorities into measurable operational outcomes — with accountability spanning OKR/KPI governance, process excellence, regulatory operations, and organizational design.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned operational executive with deep experience in FinTech, digital assets, payments, or regulated financial services. They bring command-level mastery of data analytics, operational controls, and enterprise AI/LLM implementation — and a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in complex, high-growth environments.
If you are a FinTech / Crypto / Digital Asset executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution — and are ready to own operational leadership at scale — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Performance
- Own and drive RockWallet’s enterprise operational strategy — translating the company’s vision into a coherent, measurable execution roadmap aligned to the COO’s strategic priorities.
- Define and govern the company-wide OKR and KPI framework — including goal-setting cycles, progress tracking, escalation protocols, and executive reporting — serving as the connective tissue that keeps the organization aligned and accountable.
- Act as the senior operational intelligence function for the business — proactively interpreting data analytics to surface risks, identify opportunities, and drive corrective action before issues impact results.
- Develop organizational structures, governance frameworks, and executive reporting mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into business performance across all operational domains.
Operational Excellence & Process Governance
- Oversee end-to-end operational workflows across onboarding, funding, trading, withdrawals, settlements, and customer support — setting ownership, SLAs, and performance targets across each function.
- Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks through analytics-driven insight and automation-first solutions that improve throughput, reduce friction, and enhance customer experience at scale.
- Build and maintain scalable operational infrastructure across RockWallet’s US, Antigua, and India operations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across jurisdictions.
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to operationalize strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive cross-functional execution.
Enterprise AI & Technology Leadership
- Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption using leading enterprise AI/LLM platforms — identifying high-value use cases, leading implementation, automating workflows, and building organizational capability around AI-powered operations.
- Serve as an executive sponsor and operational lead for RockWallet’s ICONIC-AI initiative and related autonomous agent architecture, ensuring governance, accountability, and business impact at each deployment stage.
- Champion a data-first, automation-driven operational culture across the organization.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operational teams — fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and customer-centric thinking.
- Function as a senior member of the leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning, resource allocation, and organizational design decisions in partnership with the COO.
- Define and implement succession planning and talent development strategies within the Operations function.
How We Get Things Done – Our ICONIC Values
Our ICONIC values shape how every RockWallet team member works. We look for a Project Manager who brings them to life every day:
- Integrity – Does the right thing, even when it’s inconvenient; raises risks and concerns early rather than working around them, and treats customer trust and data security as non-negotiable.
- Collaborative – Works across boundaries and avoids silos; shares information proactively, seeks input from relevant stakeholders, and prioritizes organization outcomes over individual or team wins.
- Ownership – Takes responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks; follows through on commitments, closes loops, and thinks end-to-end about impact on customers, teams, and the business.
- Nimble – Adapts quickly while staying disciplined; responds effectively to change, balances speed with sound judgment and compliance, and avoids over-engineering when simpler solutions will work.
- Innovative – Continuously improves how we work and what we deliver; challenges outdated processes and uses data, experimentation, and new tools—including AI—to drive practical improvement.
- Customer – Puts the customer at the center of decisions; designs solutions that reduce friction and balances business goals with customer trust and experience.
