Objectives of this Role: As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in building relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and other animal healthcare providers. Your primary responsibilities will include generating leads, facilitating sales, and providing top-notch support to ensure client satisfaction. This role involves educating clients on the clinical and financial benefits of our products, assisting with technical inquiries, and meeting quarterly and annual sales goals. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the sales team to generate, follow up on, and close sales leads within your assigned territory. Engage with existing customers daily to introduce new products, upsell offerings, and maintain high levels of satisfaction. Provide technical insights into our products, explaining scientific details, applications, and how they enhance clinical practices in veterinary medicine. Educate clients on the business value of our products, including return on investment (ROI) and revenue benefits for practice-building and operational efficiency. Collaborate with sales, technical support, and marketing teams to deliver comprehensive support and troubleshooting for clients. Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals, striving to grow territory sales and maintain high customer satisfaction. Record daily sales activities in CRM software, submit reports by required deadlines, and share insights on client feedback and market trends. Stay updated on new product developments, industry trends, and veterinary business models to continuously expand product knowledge and refine sales strategies. What you need to succeed: Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably within a related industry, with a proven sales record and the ability to independently manage and achieve sales goals. Experience as a Veterinary technician or Veterinary Office Manager preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, or a related field preferred. Integrity & Authenticity to build trust and foster strong client relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills; CRM experience is a plus. Highly organized & detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Goal-oriented & persistent in reaching sales targets, with a high level of self-motivation and the drive to go above and beyond in meeting goals. Enthusiastic & positive attitude with a passion for learning and sharing product knowledge. Resourceful & adaptable, with the ability to learn quickly and embrace new technologies and approaches. Relationship-focused with a customer-first approach, maintaining high levels of self-awareness & emotional intelligence. Problem-solving mindset with a solution-oriented approach and flexibility to adapt to evolving client and company needs.
