Help us build the next Gen Z social platform! baesh is a Gen Z social platform that helps people meet in real life through activities, communities, and shared interests. We’re building the infrastructure for real-world connection in the AI age - a social network that nudges people out of scrolling and into experiences. As our UX/Product Lead (Core Team), you’ll own the user experience end-to-end. You’ll talk to users, turn insights into shipped improvements, and shape a product that can scale from Berlin to the world. 📌 Core team position, equity-based 📌 Massive growth opportunities: you’ll influence product strategy, UX direction, and experimentation from day one 📌 Flexible hours + fully remote 📌 German required (our first market is Berlin) 📌 After fundraising, there’s a path toward a paid leadership role (this is an unpaid core team role for now) **Product Ownership & Strategy** * Own the UX/product direction for baesh across onboarding, discovery, event flows, community interactions, and retention loops * Translate the company vision into a clear product roadmap, prioritized by impact on activation, engagement, and retention (MAU) * Define success metrics, hypotheses, and experiments **User Research & Validation** * Run regular user interviews and usability tests, especially with Gen Z / young millennials * Create lightweight research plans and turn them into actionable product decisions * Build and maintain feedback loops: surveys, in-app prompts, churn reasons, and community-driven insights **UX Design & Interaction Quality** * Design key flows and interaction patterns, with strong attention to detail and delight * Improve “fun” factors: gamification, spontaneity, social mechanics, and micro-interactions that increase engagement **Cross-Functional Execution** * Work closely with engineering to ship quickly with high UX quality * Collaborate on AI-assisted workflows **Experience & Seniority** * Strong track record in UX/Product Design or Product Management with deep UX ownership (we care more about outcomes than titles) * Proven ability to improve activation/retention through product iteration, not just “pretty screens. * Comfort working in early-stage environments **Skillset** * Excellent UX craft: flows, interaction design, usability, and visual polish * Strong product thinking: prioritization, experimentation, metrics, and user behavior * Ability to run user interviews independently and convert insights into shipped improvements. **Language & Location** * German knowledge required (you’ll research and validate with German-speaking users). * Europe-based only (EU + Eastern Partnership countries), fully remote. **Mindset** * Founder-level ownership: proactive, fast, direct, and accountable. * Excited by the mission: building the infrastructure for real-life connection in the AI age. * **Core team role with company shares** * High-impact mission: tackling loneliness and helping people build real friendships IRL * **Fully remote** * **Flexible working hours** * Massive growth benefits If you’re a product-led UX person who loves talking to users, shipping fast, and building social products that people actually come back to - we’d love to meet you! 🩷
