Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we are empowering brands to build seamless, high-performance online shopping experiences. As an UltraCart Developer, you will take the lead in building, customizing, and maintaining eCommerce platforms powered by UltraCart. You will work with marketing teams, designers, and operations to create secure, scalable storefronts and robust integrations that drive conversions and enhance customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical side of eCommerce, is comfortable with APIs and frontend customization, and has experience delivering tailored UltraCart solutions. You Will Be Responsible For: Storefront Development: Setting up and customizing UltraCart storefronts using templates, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and the UltraCart StoreFront framework. Shopping Experience Customization: Modifying and enhancing checkout flows, product pages, shopping carts, and customer portals for optimized user experience and conversion. Backend Integration: Integrating UltraCart with third-party platforms such as CRMs, fulfillment services, ERPs, and payment gateways using REST APIs and webhooks. Automation & Workflows: Developing scripts and workflows for order processing, customer notifications, coupon logic, and upselling/cross-selling strategies. Maintenance & Support: Monitoring storefront health, performing bug fixes, and ensuring the platform remains up-to-date with UltraCart’s latest features and security updates. Analytics & Reporting: Implementing and configuring tracking tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) and creating performance reports to support marketing efforts. Collaboration: Working closely with UI/UX designers, marketers, and other developers to meet business goals and deadlines across product launches and updates. This Role Is For You If: You have 2+ years of experience working with UltraCart or similar eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, 3dcart). You have strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with Liquid or templating engines. You’re familiar with UltraCart StoreFront, templates, and scripting systems. You have experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON, XML, or webhook-based data exchanges. You are comfortable working independently and managing eCommerce projects end-to-end.
