Responsibilities and more: About the Role: We are a lean, fast-moving tech startup building a disruptive personal finance app focused on behavioral economics and micro-expenses ("gastos hormiga"). We have already kickstarted our engineering pipeline, and now we need a creative, product-minded UI/UX Designer to own our visual identity and user journeys. You will transform complex financial data into beautiful, intuitive, and highly engaging mobile dashboards that users will love to open every day. Responsibilities: End-to-End Product Design: Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for our mobile application (iOS/Android) from scratch. Dashboard Visuals: Design dynamic, clean, and easy-to-understand data visualizations (charts, progress bars, financial metrics) tailored for a young audience. User Research & Psychology: Analyze user behavior to reduce friction, making the process of logging daily micro-expenses take less than 3 seconds. Design System: Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma (components, typography, color palettes, and iconography) to ensure consistency as the product grows. Developer Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Product Engineer (Frontend) to hand off designs and ensure pixel-perfect implementation. Requirements: Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience designing mobile apps, ideally with a portfolio showcasing fintech, SaaS, or data-heavy consumer applications. Tools: Absolute mastery of Figma (auto-layout, components, prototyping). Product Thinking: A strong understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile design patterns (iOS and Android), and human behavior. You don't just design screens; you solve user problems. Mindset: Proactive, autonomous, and excited about the startup hustle. You are ready to take full ownership of the product's visual soul.
