Traffic Planner (South Africa)

Job Type: Full‑Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8‑hour shift

Work Arrangement: Remote / Work from Home

Well, have we got the opportunity for you! Due to an increase in new contracts and projects, we are looking to add another two (2) Traffic Planners to our team.

We are after super organised individuals who can maintain high standards of accuracy, work to project deadlines and think outside the box. We’ve figured out that the person who is going to *own it* in this role is going to need the following skills and qualities:

1. Holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering would be preference)
2. Has 12+ months experience in roads & transportation industry
3. Valid passport (or ability to obtain)
4. "Experienced" Driver's Licence in South Africa, that meets Department of Transport WA requirements as recognised Driver's Licence
5. Experience using drafting programs such as Autocad
6. Own computer, reliable high speed internet, dual screens and noise cancelling headset
7. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow documented processes
8. Demonstrated strong logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who approaches challenges with a clear, structured, and analytical mindset and can "think outside the box" to generate innovative and making well-reasoned solutions.
9. Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the confidence to deal with a variety of people on a daily basis. You will be required to document in electronic task management and operating systems daily.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

• Designing Traffic Management Plans
• Using Rapidplan to design Traffic Guidance Schemes
• Engaging with customers to build long-lasting relationships
• Liaising with key stakeholders
• Updating project management systems with updates
