Time Critical Transport Coordinator – Europe

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Time Critical Transport Coordinator – Europe. The coordinator will manage time-sensitive transport requests, plan and monitor shipments across European routes, and ensure all deliveries meet agreed deadlines and service levels. Daily responsibilities include communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams; sourcing suitable vehicles or partners; and providing real-time updates on shipment status. The role also involves handling booking documentation, checking transport feasibility, managing route optimization, and resolving issues that arise during transit. The coordinator will use digital tools and transport management systems to track loads, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement in service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, preferably with time-critical or express shipments within Europe.
• Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple urgent shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
• Comfort working remotely, with a high level of reliability, self-discipline, and responsiveness.
• Proficiency with digital tools and transport or logistics management systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make time-sensitive decisions under pressure.
• Good knowledge of European geography, road transport constraints, and typical transit times.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a customer service–oriented role; ability to handle escalations professionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours where needed to support time-critical operations.
