TIBCO Integration Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced TIBCO Integration Engineer to design, develop, support, and maintain enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TIBCO BusinessWorks (BWCE and BW 6.x), enterprise integration architecture, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot complex integration issues, support migration projects, build and maintain integration processes, and ensure high availability and performance of enterprise integration platforms.

The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Integration Development & Support

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using TIBCO BWCE and TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x.
• Build and support enterprise-grade integration services and APIs.
• Create and maintain file transfer processes and integration workflows.
• Construct new integration processes and decommission legacy processes when required.
• Support application and platform migration initiatives.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions.

Monitoring & Operations

• Configure and manage monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards and monitoring reports.
• Monitor application and integration health using Dynatrace.
• Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
• Resolve performance, memory, thread dump, and stability-related issues.

Platform Administration

• Configure and support Linux and Windows (Wintel) environments.
• Manage deployment, configuration, and operational support activities.
• Ensure system availability and operational excellence.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation initiatives.
• Support Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency.

Architecture & Solution Design

• Support enterprise integration architecture initiatives.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable integration solutions.
• Ensure adherence to SOA, ESB, and enterprise integration best practices.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with TIBCO and related integration technologies.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade integration solutions.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Core TIBCO Skills

• Hands-on experience with: TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition (BWCE), TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x
• Experience with TIBCO integration technologies and components.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.

Integration & API Technologies

• Extensive experience with: SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, JSON, XML, XSD, DTD, XSLT, XPath, UML

Programming & Development

• Strong development experience with: Java, JavaScript, SQL
• Hands-on experience in enterprise application development.

Monitoring & Observability

• Experience with: Splunk Dashboard creation and monitoring, Alert configuration and management, Dynatrace monitoring and performance analysis

Configuration & Deployment

• Strong experience with: YAML configuration files, Linux administration, Windows (Wintel) environments

Architecture Knowledge

• Excellent understanding of: Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Enterprise Integration Architecture

DevOps & Delivery

• Experience with: CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, Agile Scrum delivery frameworks

Cloud Technologies

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives is advantageous.
