Test Automation Engineer: (Cypress / Selenium) - New office in Malaysia

Mission-driven: a global SAAS solution for sustainability and climate change Serving over 100,000 companies across 175+ countries and 200+ industries EU unicorn with US$ 500m in new funding New office and tech hub in Malaysia, scaling to 30 engineers in 2025 Projects Building 1 core project (new product / feature) Maintenance and upgrade of 1-2 smaller projects Ongoing modernisation of legacy tech (10+ years old) Responsibilities Testing works will involve about 80% automation and 20% manual efforts Work closely with engineers to define testing parameters, prepare test plans and develop automation scripts Develop and implement reliable testing strategies - identify process or technical gaps and propose solutions to improve Advocate best practices in testing to foster a quality-first mindset Team & Culture Reporting to the Engineering Manager of your assigned product/domain team while collaborating within a globally distributed engineering environment Each product/domain team has a dedicated QA with engineers located across multiple countries You will have ownership over the product you are assigned to - strategically selecting the appropriate testing tools and processes to ensure a strong and robust product Must Have Selenium, C# and Cypress Good communication and problem-solving skills Nice to have Experience testing on large-scale enterprise products and solutions Grade / Level 5+ years of software testing experience with 2 to 3 years in automation testing Work Arrangement Hybrid with 3 days WFO - based in KLCC 13th month salary
