We usually respond within a week Shape the Future of Manufacturing – Together We are looking for a Technology Director to lead the development of our global manufacturing technologies by enabling, connecting, and empowering our factories, technology experts and collaborating with our technology partners par worldwide. This is a highly strategic leadership position with truly hands-on collaboration with our site and business. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Scanfil by co-creating our technology vision, building future-ready capabilities, and fostering seamless collaboration across our global manufacturing network. What You Will Enable & Facilitate You will shape and drive Scanfil’s global manufacturing technology vision (“Dream Factory”) in close collaboration with our factories and business leaders. You own the 3–5 year global technology roadmap, guide the technology stack and standards, and enable adoption of automation, digitalization, testing solutions, and AI in manufacturing. You actively scout and pilot emerging technologies, scale proven solutions, and act as a strong advocate for digital and data‑driven manufacturing. You build strategic partnerships with technology providers and research ecosystems, strengthen global capabilities, and facilitate collaboration across sites. Through expert guidance you support investment decisions, co-create technologies and standards, and lead the global technology network through influence, trust, and shared purpose. As a member of the Supply Chain Management Team, you will have a direct impact on our business direction and success, reporting to the CSCO and working closely with senior leaders worldwide. Core Competencies Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, processes and operational experience in manufacturing (electronics, mechanical, system integration) Experience and/or strong interest in automation, digitalization, and AI-enabled manufacturing Strategic and visionary mindset, combined with solid planning and program management skills Analytical, data-driven approach with a continuous improvement mindset Proven ability to inspire, facilitate, and develop expert networks Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, multi-site environment Working proficiency in English Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience also considered) Proven experience in manufacturing technologies and industrial processes Track record of enabling technology adoption and translating initiatives into measurable business value Experience in working across global manufacturing organizations Strong alignment with our values: Customer Focused | Achieving Together | Empowered | Engaged to Perform About Scanfil Scanfil is a global supply chain and manufacturing partner with operations across multiple continents.
