This person will ensure that all assets are properly prepared, optimized, and integrated into the game engine. The role includes troubleshooting pipeline issues, maintaining consistency across animations, and supporting both the creative and technical sides of production. By collaborating closely with multiple teams, the Technical Animator will help streamline workflows and ensure the delivery of polished, high-quality visuals fully prepared for in-game implementation. Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact: Optimize assets and resolve animation-related blockers within the game production pipeline. Performs cleanup of animation assets for game handover. Optimizes assets for performance. Provides updates to animation assets to enhance the player experience, after consultation with the corresponding lead. When capacity allows, creates new animations or makes major changes to existing assets in alignment with the Leads. Communicates with QA/devs and responds to their official requests (Jira, Monday, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner, requesting clear definitions of required tasks. Maintains contact with Animation Lead, Art Lead and Tech artist in case of major asset issues.
