Accountabilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of new business brokers focused on commercial insurance solutions for contractor clients. Drive team performance by monitoring key metrics such as premium growth, conversion rates, response times, and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, file audits, and one-on-one meetings to enhance sales effectiveness and service quality. Foster a high-performance culture through motivation, accountability, and continuous feedback. Guide team members through complex insurance scenarios and support decision-making on challenging risks. Facilitate daily team huddles and training activities to promote knowledge sharing and best practices. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiency, and business growth. Ensure brokers effectively utilize internal technology platforms and tools to manage pipelines and deliver timely client solutions. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience within the insurance industry, with commercial insurance experience considered a strong asset. At least 3 years of experience leading, mentoring, or supervising sales or brokerage teams. Valid provincial insurance broker license; RIBO licensing is preferred. Demonstrated success in driving team performance, achieving sales targets, and managing key business metrics. Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment while managing competing priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
