Qualifications & Responsibilities: 2 - 3 years accounting experience. Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. CPA license or candidacy a bonus. Prepare certain Federal and state income tax returns. Learn and/or perform tax research. Become familiar with United States tax reform legislation and guidance. Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Become familiar with analyzing financial reports and book to tax differences. Become knowledgeable with Cg tax and accounting software solutions. Work with senior staff to ensure that clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Help research and correct any discrepancies in tax filings. Work with senior staff to identify tax savings strategies and client recommendations. Participate in training and other educational opportunities. Perform additional tasks as assigned by Cg Senior Management, when necessary. This position is hybrid; a combination of remote and in-office work. In-office work will be determined by Cg management and/or client needs.
