Primary Responsibilities of the Role Prepare complex fiduciary income tax returns, including Form 1041 and related state fiduciary income tax returns. Preparation of estate tax returns, i.e., Form 706, and supporting schedules, including reaching out to other professionals and/or clients as needed to gather information. Prepare gift tax returns, including Form 709, gift allocation schedules, GST exemption allocation reporting, and related disclosures. Analyze trust documents to determine tax reporting requirements. Assist with income distribution deduction calculations, distributable net income calculations, beneficiary reporting, and Schedule K-1 preparation. Assist with post-death tax compliance, including decedent final individual income tax returns, estate income tax returns, and coordination of estate administration tax matters. Experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and family entities is highly preferred. Prepare tax projections and related estimated payments. Research and consult with management on various client-related tax matters. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities. Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus Working towards or licensed as a CPA. 3+ years of experience as a tax professional Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong accounting skills required. Experience using CCH Axcess tax software is a plus. Salary Pay Scale This position's salary range is $100,000 - $140,000. Sound like a good fit?
