About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Partner to join our Salt Lake City based firm. This role involves overseeing complex tax compliance processes, providing strategic tax planning, management of clients and staff, and ensuring that all tax practices adhere to both local and federal regulations. Supervise the preparation of simple and moderately complicated income tax returns and assume primary responsibility in the preparation of complicated tax returns. General accounting and bookkeeping utilizing QuickBooks Online. Individually manage client relationships, including client contact, coordination with clients, and preparation timing for small and medium sized engagements. Collaborate with leadership in coordinating large client engagements, identification of problems, and providing solutions. Assist with tax planning, tax compliance, and on-boarding of new clients while maintaining quality client relationships. Identify opportunities to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients. Train and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and supervision on tax matters. Required Skills: 10+ years of Tax Accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or relevant years of experience) Active CPA License Experience with leading tax software and bookkeeping software Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage relationships with staff and clients Preferred Skills: Experience with leading tax software and QuickBooks Desktop/Online Proven experience with client and/or staff management Division Milestone Advisors Locations Murray Remote status Hybrid About Baysora At Baysora, we partner with boutique tax and accounting firms to protect what makes them unique while fueling their next chapter.
