Business Development Leader (USI8) (1451) Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Category Non DOT - Safety Sensitive Position Apply Description SUMMARY: Acts as a partner to the business unit General Managers and other leadership individuals, lead all activities related to the Accessories Distribution sales, marketing, and customer service functions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing a global and channel coverage strategy. Owning the overall sales strategic planning process for Accessories Distribution. Lead a team of high performing sales, marketing and customer service personnel to grow revenue and margin. Develop and measure the sales pipeline and provide direction on the allocation of the sales force (including agents) and other resources to execute on sales opportunities. Establish, maintain and develop business relationships with customers and potential customers. Proactively establish relationships at higher levels of key accounts to identify needs and ensure rapid resolution of issues when they occur. Attend industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops and other special events as required. Host and coordinate customer visits. Keep abreast of products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree. 6-7 years of relevant/technical work experience Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills. Knowledge of aircraft and engine components. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in business administration, sales, or related. 9+ years of experience in Distribution sales, preferably components, including experience directing and leading an international sales team.
