THE OPPORTUNITY

We're preparing SplitStay's application for IMEC iStart Spain and are looking for someone exceptional to help us create our accelerator application video.

This is not primarily a video editing project.

This is a startup storytelling project.

Your role is to transform it into the clearest, most compelling story possible for accelerator reviewers, investors, and strategic partners.

Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026

Target Final Delivery: June 14, 2026

Project starts immediately.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

After watching the video, an IMEC reviewer should immediately understand:

• The behavior already exists
• SplitStay is organizing an existing behavior, not creating a new one
• Trust and coordination are the core challenge
• Events are the ideal starting market
• The WhatsApp MVP proves the concept
• Every successful introduction improves the system
• SplitStay has the potential to become a scalable travel marketplace

If those beliefs are communicated clearly, the project has been successful.

ABOUT SPLITSTAY

SplitStay is building the coordination layer for travel.

Today, travelers already coordinate shared accommodation through WhatsApp groups, Reddit

communities, Discord servers, Facebook groups, event communities, and personal networks.

We're not creating this behavior.

We're organizing it.

Our mission is to make shared travel accommodation more accessible, trustworthy, and efficient.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We're not looking for someone who simply animates screens.

We're looking for someone willing to challenge the narrative and improve it.

If you believe:

• The opening is weak
• The story starts in the wrong place
• The opportunity can be framed more clearly
• The product should be explained differently

We want to hear it.

• 3–4 minute accelerator application video
