Establish engineering standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns across teams. Support incident response, reliability improvements, and platform scalability efforts. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic technical investments. Help shape long-term technical roadmaps and platform evolution. Requirements 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. Proven experience designing and scaling complex distributed systems or SaaS platforms. Strong expertise in backend development, system architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and software design patterns. Experience working across multiple teams and influencing technical direction without direct management authority. Deep understanding of software performance, scalability, security, and reliability. Strong coding skills with experience in modern development frameworks and cloud platforms. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term technical sustainability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Compensation Our compensation package for the Staff Engineer role includes a competitive salary aligned with technical expertise, impact, and experience.
