We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to the month-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records for the U.S. corporate entity. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. Key responsabilities: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP Support month-end close activities, including accruals, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances Support data gathering and analysis for tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes Pull, organize, and retain supporting documentation for monthly close and annual audit purposes Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records Support process improvements and special projects as assigned Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus Experience 3+ years of relevant accounting experience At least 2 years of experience working with U.S. GAAP standards Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Experience working with accounting or ERP systems Experience working with U.S.-based teams or supporting U.S. entities Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus Technical Skills Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas) Languages & Communication Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders Soft Skills Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision Welcome Kit Home Office Flexible Schedule Birthday off Vacations from day one Life insurance Insurance for Major Medical Expenses (50% coverage) Saving fund (you save 6% of your monthly salary, and we match that 6% for you) Support for remote work (Electricity and Internet) Free courses or trainings English Classes Dining Room (Guadalajara only) Sports fields (Guadalajara only) Gym (Guadalajara only)
