Job Duties : Develop, improve, and deploy source code branching methodologies and associated automation. Develop scripts for automating build and application deployments using one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. Lead production releases and deployments across environments and cloud platforms. Work with Build/Run teams to review current practices and make recommendations on adopting Continuous Delivery best practices and help enhance build, deploy, configuration management, and release engineering related activities. Utilize application and synthetic monitoring tools and creating monitoring dashboards, such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc. Participate in mentoring junior team members. Develop and maintain configuration and release scripts, as well as provide release planning services and installation script development for new applications where necessary. Develop Cloud computing solutions using PCF, AWS, OpenShift or GCP, as well as review change tickets to ensure accuracy of application change activities and mitigate risk. Develop and improve release process improvements and update release standards documentation. What you have Job Requirements : Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in a related occupation.. Experience must include 36 months of experience involving the following: SRE / DevOps; Alerting and Monitoring (Splunk, AppDynamics, or Atlassian tools); CI/CD - Automate deployment pipelines; Incident management and Process Improvement; Release Management; Cloud Infrastructure Management (PCF); and Automation (Python, Shell scripting, Harness, Splunk).
