GENERAL SUMMARY: The Manager works with the Director to lead engagement execution, analysis, and deliverable creation for various clients. This position is a natural continuation from the Senior Associate position and is responsible for participating in account management and relationship-based business development efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Relationship Management & Advisory – Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients, ensuring client- first mentality that results in organic growth. Includes, but not limited to: Deeply understand clients' business, how they make money, and their competitive landscape. Consult on bids, proposals and pitch decks. Design and Deliverable Creation - Work collaboratively with clients and/or client leads to design engagements that ensure the research is effectively translated to insights and related strategies that are actionable and have a meaningful impact on clients' strategies and business outcomes. Includes, but not limited to: Responsible for rigorous research design, planning, and execution excellence. Conduct objective review discussions, kickoff meetings with clients. Develop questionnaire outlines that address study objectives and fit in the specifications. Develop and refine the Analytical Plan and final report. Engagement Execution - Collaborate effectively with clients, client leads, and project team members to ensure the overall quality and timely execution of client deliverables; includes but not limited to: Ability to articulate project specifications and goals. Strong understanding and ability to educate on project management principles and best practices. Data Management - Oversee the reporting of the data collected. Create reports and proposal deliverables in a way that supports clear and actionable stories for client. Budget Monitoring - Monitor project budgets and provide guidance to other client leads and Sales to ensure each project is completed on-time and within budget Training - Participate in continuous learning and development as well as compliance training as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Passion for working in client service; client first/client-centric focus. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform in a fast paced supplier environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in fast paced environments both supplier and client. Embraces change and challenges norms in pursuit of constant process enhancements and effectiveness. Entrepreneurial approach; ability and desire to initiate the identification and pursuit of innovative ideas. Experience supporting engagements across a variety of industry sectors: Financial Services, Healthcare, Consumer/Retail, Technology, and/or Media. Proactive problem solver and critical thinker throughout the lifecycle of all projects. Deep understanding of project management principles & best practices and the ability to teach and train; to maximize the execution and delivery of excellence to clients. Experience running large programs/tracking studies is a plus. Knowledge of working with appended data, working with portals and understanding hierarchies in portals. Ability to thrive in a heavily matrixed environment. Ability to work autonomously and own project soup to nuts. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing research, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related industry is required; advanced degree is a plus. PMI or Six Sigma Certification is a plus. Basic statistics. 3-6 years of experience. Proven ability to write compelling proposals and analytical reports. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with data analytics software; such as, Q, Dimensions, SPSS, R, Python desired. Experience working with Partners such as Dapresy and/or Qualtrix desired. Proven skills in writing and compelling storytelling.
