Sr. Manager of Sales Operations Apply Overview Salary Range $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 Position Type Full Time Category Life Sciences Apply Job Description The primary focus of the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations will be to provide broad operational day-to-day support to the sales team, managing the tools and systems that are critical for our sales process. The Sr. Manager of Sales Operations will be responsible for working with the sales team to clearly understand the client's needs so that statements of work can be developed and delivered to clients in a timely manner. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the scope of work can be delivered. The ideal candidate will possess executive leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, experience in sales operations and finance, account management, and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. They will need to be driven, self-motivated, and accountable. Experience developing and managing contracts that include technology products (i.e artificial intelligence (AI)), services, or deliverables is required. They will serve as the primary leader for internal sales and create a best practice that can enable a scalable sales division. Responsibilities: Develop long-term sales operational strategies that help meet company objectives and goals while overseeing profitability and organizational growth. Ensure accurate and timely sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the leadership team. They will develop new reporting tools as needed. Ensure the sales team is equipped with the data needed to make accurate decisions. Own the collaboration with cross-functional departments to draft, review, and approve statement of work in an effective manner. Own the collaboration and development with sales and client to ensure the statement of work is developed accurately based on the discussions between sales leads and their counterparts. Manage all areas of SOW’s with internal team, SharePoint, and Salesforce. Develop strong working relationships with business functions quickly to develop plans and drive execution. Own and manage the sales forecast that will be collaborated with Operations. Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Communicate with legal and internal stakeholders as needed for new and pending requests. Support and manage client documents such as MSA, NDA, RFP, etc. Salesforce management and reporting support. Provide weekly to monthly KPI reports and progression presentations to senior leadership. Drive standardization and automation of current processes, including SOW development, meeting preparation follow-up, and documentation in Salesforce.com to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Continually works to identify new opportunities to improve existing processes and to provide further insight into the sales pipeline and forecast for the senior sales leadership team . Lead or support contracting efforts involving technology such as AI-driven solutions, data analytics platforms, or machine learning technologies, ensuring compliance and clarity in scope and deliverables. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Expert in Salesforce. 5+ years in Account Management. Expert MS Word, PowerPoint presentation skills, and Excel data analysis. Expert in sales forecasting and estimations. Planning and updating weekly sales targets. Demonstrate a customer focus, entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, attention to detail, a team mentality, and company and industry knowledge. The ability to develop strong working relationships with business functions quickly to develop plans and drive execution. Understand and be proficient in the sales lifecycle. Travel up to 20-30% when needed. Experience with technology such as AI-focused contracting, including drafting and managing agreements related to AI technologies, data services, or algorithm-based deliverables.
