Experienced internal auditor leading portions of engagements, performing advanced audit procedures, and mentoring junior staff. As a successful candidate, you will: Lead audit testing areas and perform complex audit analyses Evaluate risk management, internal controls, and governance processes Review audit workpapers and provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors Support audit planning activities and participate in stakeholder meetings Drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies and processes Assess business risks and identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure audit effectiveness Qualifications Your qualifications should include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field 5–8 years of internal audit experience Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent preferred Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and audit standards Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead audit engagements and mentor team members Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication Experience in healthcare, research, or complex environments preferred City of Hope employees’ pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
