YOUR ROLE Reporting to the Senior Director – Crop Protection, the incumbent will play a pivotal part in supporting our supply team by analyzing, calculating, and reconciling commercial programs from our suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management, and will actively participate in billing processes, especially for direct deliveries and special cases. The position requires supporting, participating, and managing the tasks described below: Commercial Program Management: Calculate expected rebates, establish appropriate accrual amounts, and reconcile amounts received from suppliers. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on outstanding issues. Customer Documentation: Collaborate with team members to provide customer-facing documents, intra web and dashboard maintenance related to programs. Rebate Processing: Process, track, and transmit rebates to retailers within the Sollio networks. Price List Governance: Maintain price list governance with both internal and external systems. Order and Invoice Monitoring: Monitor direct purchase orders, supplier invoices, and billing for direct deliveries and special cases. Prepayment Processing: Process and monitor prepayments with retailers, suppliers, and finance. Data Analysis: Contribute to ad hoc data analyses to drive strategic decisions. Reporting: Complete external reports for the business sector. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process implementation, procedure development, and governance of best business practices. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to purchasing activities and follow operational procedures WHAT YOU BRING Education The incumbent must have a college diploma in data analytics, administration, accounting, or a related field. Experience The incumbent must have one to two years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar function. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for optimizing business processes. Ability to leverage data analytics to drive strategic decision-making. Experience in the crop protection sector is an asset. Proficiency in English; bilingualism is an asset. Basic understanding of procurement processes, practices, and terminology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Query) and experience with procurement software (Microsoft NAV).
