# **What You’ll Do**
* **Own and scale Lago’s infrastructure** to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
* **Design and automate** infrastructure provisioning using **Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines**.
* **Optimize databases** (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse) for high availability and performance.
* **Improve monitoring and observability**, ensuring proactive detection and resolution of issues.
* **Enhance security practices**, from IAM policies to data protection strategies.
* **Collaborate with engineers** to improve deployment processes and DevOps best practices.
# **What We’re Looking For**
* **Strong experience in infrastructure engineering**, DevOps, or SRE roles: 5 year+
* Expertise in **Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP)**.
* Experience managing and scaling **PostgreSQL** in production.
* Proficiency in **Ruby or Go** (or willingness to learn).
* Passion for **open-source** and infrastructure-as-code principles.
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.
**Bonus Points**
✅ Experience with **open-source projects** or developer tools.
✅ Strong background in **security and compliance** for cloud applications.
✅ Prior experience in **metering, billing, or fintech infrastructure**.
