Job Description
For our client we are looking for a driven and experienced Software Developer to join there team in the
Healthcare IT space. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
robust software solutions that directly support healthcare professionals and improve
patient outcomes. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with other
programmers and clinical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Software Engineering
, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years
of professional software development experience (Medior) or
5+ years
(Senior)
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as
Python, Java, and/or Ruby
Experience with
Vue.js
is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of
RESTful API design
, development, and system integration
Hands-on experience with
relational databases
(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or
NoSQL
data stores
Proficient in
version control systems
, particularly
Git
Familiarity with
containerization technologies
such as
Docker
; experience with
Kubernetes
or other orchestration tools is a plus
Excellent
communication skills in English
(knowledge of
Dutch
is an advantage)
What will you be doing
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, while building responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces with Vue.js and integrating healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, QA, and clinical experts—to deliver high-quality solutions, write clean and testable code, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve system performance by resolving bottlenecks and technical debt.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap discussions, and mentor junior developers at the senior level.
