About The Job
We are looking for a
Social Media & Community Strategist to join OffSec’s Global Marketing team. This isn’t a "buffer and schedule" role. You will be the architect of OffSec’s digital voice during a foundational shift in the industry: the transition to AI-led cybersecurity mastery. You will own our corporate and executive social presence, bridging the gap between the gritty, technical "hacker spirit" and the high-level strategic needs of the global C-Suite. Your goal is to ensure OffSec remains the undisputed "Gold Standard" in a landscape defined by machine-speed threats.

- Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute the end-to-end social strategy for the OffSec brand. You will position OffSec as the leading authority in cybersecurity training on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube; other channels to be explored for opportunities.
- Translate complex technical exploits, lab updates, and learning concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with both entry-level learners and seasoned Security Architects.
- Partner with our R&D and Content teams to strategically "drop" technical insights and product teasers for maximum community reach.
- The Connective Tissue: Ensure a unified "Go-to-Market" social narrative between Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams. You will translate product technicalities into high-converting, social-first hooks that drive the funnel.
- Integrated Launch Management: Lead the social workstream for major cross-functional campaigns, ensuring that social "beats" are perfectly synchronized with email drops, paid media spend, and other outbound efforts.
- The Feedback Loop: Collaborate with Demand Gen to monitor lead quality from social channels and provide real-time feedback to Product Marketing on which value propositions are resonating with the technical community.
- Manage day-to-day engagement across our primary technical hubs (LinkedIn, X, some Reddit, and some Discord). You are a participant in the conversation, running live commentary on industry events (Black Hat, DEF CON) and jumping into breaking security trends.
- Proactively monitor and identifying trends in AI-enabled threats and reactive content opportunities to prove OffSec’s real-time relevance.
- Data-Hub Mastery: Use HubSpot and platform analytics to move beyond "vanity metrics." You will track how social engagement feeds into our lead recycling tracks and qualified enterprise pipeline.
- Ghostwriting & Narrative Design: Craft high-impact, authentic narratives for OffSec leadership, helping our executives speak to the C-Suite about cyber resilience, the AI workforce gap, and the ROI of continuous learning.
- Content Mining: Extract high-value insights from internal speeches, whitepapers, and proprietary research to generate original "opinion-leading" posts for executive profiles.
- Identify and build deep-tier relationships with cybersecurity influencers, researchers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Develop collaboration strategies that expand OffSec’s reach into niche technical communities where organic "word-of-mouth" is the primary currency of trust.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ Years of High-Impact Execution: You’ve managed social growth in a rapid-growth SaaS or Cybersecurity environment.
- Bilingual (Hacker & Executive): You speak the language of X/Discord (technical, witty, authentic) and the language of LinkedIn (strategic, professional, authoritative).
- Cross-Functional Orchestrator: Proven ability to manage stakeholders across Product and Demand Gen teams to keep complex campaigns and initiatives aligned.
- Technical Literacy: You don’t need to be an OSCP, but you must be able to understand the "Why" behind our certifications and translate technical exploits into business risk.
- Visual Craftsmanship: You are proficient in communicating clean, "Gold Standard" visual assets to the creative team - driving brand continuity and authority.
- Startup Speed: You thrive with autonomy. We trust you to own your time and pivot based on where the industry conversation is moving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot and data-sync workflows.
- A track record of managing YouTube Shorts or TikTok strategies for technical B2B brands.
- Familiarity with the cybersecurity certification landscape (Competitor awareness: SANS, HTB, THM).
- Basic understanding of SEO and how social signals drive organic search visibility.
