About the Role We’re hiring a Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations across a growing portfolio of vacation rentals. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll manage guest experience, coordinate vendors, and ensure properties run smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, systems, and overall performance. What You’ll Do Operations & Guest Experience Oversee daily operations across multiple properties Manage guest communication and handle escalations Act as the main point of contact for urgent in-stay issues Vendor & Property Coordination Coordinate cleaners, maintenance teams, and vendors Ensure quality through checklists and documentation Maintain consistent operational standards Listings & Performance Manage and update listings (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct channels) Monitor and respond to guest reviews Track KPIs like response time, ratings, and operational efficiency Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows and SOPs Support listing updates based on seasonality or property changes What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience in short-term rental or property management Hands-on experience with tools like Guesty, Hospitable, or Hostaway (Guesty is a plus) Strong ability to manage guest escalations and make decisions independently Excellent written English with a professional, empathetic tone Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented Comfortable working EST hours with occasional urgent after-hours support Nice to Have Experience managing multi-property portfolios Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, or ClickUp Experience with pricing tools (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse) Background in boutique or hospitality operations Why Join This Role?
